In May, 2024, we acquired a 15 MW geothermal power plant in Hidalgo County, New Mexico. We are continuing to operate it as the only utility scale geothermal power plant in New Mexico, providing carbon-free, firm baseload power for customers around the state.

In addition to providing energy, we like the geothermal field at Lightning Dock because it provides opportunities to research better ways to access and expand geothermal power.
